As a little girl, I was a ballerina. Ballet was a great foundation to build my dance and fitness career. In addition to ballet, I also ran track and swam through middle and high school.
In college, I studied Ballet and minored in dance. I learned a great deal about my body through modern dance, yoga, pilates, and strength training.
After a knee injury in Ballet, I needed to reevaluate and find another way to move that wouldn’t exacerbate my injury and that’s when I came across Polefitness. It re-sparked my passion for other forms of dance and helped push me towards my personal training career. I have been doing pole now for two years and am finally at a point where I am a competent instructor.
